Originally known as Maple Valley, Lena owes its location to the railroads.The Village of Lena is a village in Oconto County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 564 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village is located within the Town of Lena According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 33.4 square miles (86.5 km²), all of it land.
The local community’s highlights includes Dairyfest, an annual celebration held in early September each year to honor the farming history of this region. This is a family-friendly event which includes a parade, truck & tractor pulls, food vendors, music, petting zoo and bouncers for the kids. The events are free!
